Игроку предстоит выступить в роли одного из космических рейнджеров, которые могут заниматься самой разной деятельностью, но в конечном счёте, преследуют цель спасения Галактики от вторжения доминаторов. Чёткого и заранее написанного сюжета в игре нет, но есть большое число квестов, генерируемых случайным образом и не привязанных к определённому месту или времени.
Концепция свободного выбора, отличительная особенность оригинала, не только сохранилась, но и получила в «Космических рейнджерах 2» свое логическое развитие. Игрок не ограничивается сюжетными рамками, ему предоставляется возможность повлиять на ход событий. При этом игровой мир (размеры которого существенно увеличились по сравнению с первой частью) живёт и развивается по своим законам, в нём постоянно происходят какие-то события: захватываются и освобождаются системы, пираты грабят суда, на планетах случаются государственные перевороты, а ученые делают новые открытия.

У нас в коллективе три игры игры были популярными Солдаты Анархии, Герои 3 и КР2. В последний, играли года три, главное у каждого в компе она была. Как помню , создателя квеста Фараон материли всем отделом, но пройти так и не смогли.

За мою геймерскуюю жизнь я много раз устанавливал Косморейнджеров2, операцию Silent Storm и Героев 3
Играл играл, потом в один момент удалял, через месяца 3 снова устанавливал =)
Другие игры очень редко переустанавливал, разве что морровинд.

Да верно Улидко,я про квест там где про сыновей фараона и их характеры. Там сыновей звали довольно смешно: Замполит , Ептимать, Рамзец , коли я не ошибаюсь.
